Three Apple Cider Vinegar Recipes

I know I know, you've heard about apple cider vinegar before! I have recently re-discovered it's powerful effects and am inspired to share with you, in case someone else may benefit from consuming some.

Personally, I notice my metabolism and digestion is improved by including a morning dose in my diet. Let me know in the comments if you have had any positive or negative experiences!

Below I have provided three easy recipes for you to experiment with so that you can include apple cider vinegar into your healthy lifestyle!

Note: Simply adding or subtracting single foods or ingredients rarely has a noticeable effect on health. It’s your entire diet or lifestyle that creates long-term health!

Possible Benefits of Including ACV In Your Diet:

RECIPES

MORNING CLEANSER

Ingredients:

  • 250ml hot water

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tbsp. raw honey

  • 2 slices of fresh ginger

Magic Method: Stir, allow to cool, and then sip through a straw to help protect tooth enamel from the effects of vinegar.

DRESSING

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • Sea salt and pepper to season

Magic Method: Whisk all together.

TIP: Use a cucumber salad with dill, red onion and garlic.

GUMMIE BEARS

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup apple juice, freshly squeezed or 100% no additives or sugars

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp raw honey

  • 2 tbsp + ¼ tsp agar agar powder

  • Juice from one lemon

  • Extra: ¼ tsp cayenne pepper + 1 tsp ginger powder

Magic Method:

  • Place a gummy bear silicone mould on a tray (no worries, if you don’t have a gummy bear tray, use another mould and slice them after refrigeration.)

  • Combine ingredients in a saucepan on low heat.

  • Stir well, and once you see that everything is dissolved and the liquid is starting to thicken, remove it from the heat. This will take approximately 5 minutes.

  • Pour the liquid into silicone mould tray.

  • Transfer to the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Slice into gummy squares if using an open mould.

TIP: make sure you place a tray underneath the silicone tray so you can pick it up without spilling!

Are you tempted to try any of these recipes? I am making the gummies tomorrow... :)
